MNÁ debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026@ the Greenside venue, Georges street from the 18th-22nd of August.
MNÁ was met with great reviews and happy audiences.
The play follows two different women’s journeys into their 30’s. Leaving home to find yourself was a good idea until you lose yourself, find yourself and don’t know yourself All. In. One. Year!
The Suaimhneas theatre company brings you MNÁ , written and performed by Jodie Sweeney And Francesca Garry. Through the guise of humour and spoken word, this play follows the journey of two different women, asking themselves tough questions they don't have the answers to yet. Have you have ever felt like moving forward feels a whole lot like moving backwards ? then MNÁ is the play for you.

Francesca Garry wrote and starred in Groceries at the Pearse centre July 2026. The play was directed by Jodie Sweeney.
The play deals with a woman’s struggle to get through the arduous task of the weekly food shop. Cheryl tries her best but feels the supermarket is going against her at every hands turn. Will she be able to cope ?
A one woman show about something more than just shopping. What happens when the weekly chores become unbearable and no one seems to care?
